She hopes to use her new title to further touch the lives of those less fortunate. “I have reached another milestone to impact the lives of children in circumstances that we, who come from warm homes with food and blankets, could not even understand,” she added.Shona has also been selected as one of the Miss Summer-Heat finalists and will be competing for the grand title in October.In addition, she has been internationally scouted and will be performing in front of a group of international scouts for both modelling and singing in October this year. If she is selected, from there she will be off to Florida, Orlando, in June next year.“With God by your side, determination, a good coach and a supportive family, dreams do come true,” espoused Shona. She would like to thank her coach, Le Mari Smit (owner of Upstage Models) for assisting her and encouraging her to follow her dreams. Former Miss Youth Queen 2013 Shona Clarke was recently crowned Miss Jnr Teen KZN at the Gateway Hotel on Saturday, March 22.The purpose of Miss Jnr Teen KZN comes down to community and charity work.
